James Y. Li M.D.
Dr. James Y. Li is a board-certified vascular surgeon in Odessa, Texas.
Dr. Li attended Boston University obtaining his undergraduate and medical degrees in the accelerated six year medical program. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois Metropolitan Group Hospitals and vascular surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery. He practiced at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center prior to coming to Odessa in 2005.
He is board certified in surgery and vascular surgery. He is a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery (FSVS).
His areas of interest include carotid artery disease, arterial aneurysms, limb salvage, and varicose veins. He has pioneered many new techniques in the Permian Basin including being the first surgeon in Odessa to perform endovascular repair for abdominal aortic aneurysm and thoracic aortic aneurysm, transcervical carotid stent placement, and endovascular AV fistula insertion.
Kaula Frazier MHA
Kaula is the Chief Operating Officer for the Vascular Center of the Permian Basin. She attended the University of Texas Permian Basin and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She attended Texas A&M University School of Public Health and obtained a Master of Health Administration. She joined the Vascular Center of the Permian Basin in 2012.
Kelly Mattimoe FNP
Kelly is a Nurse Practitioner at the Vascular Center of the Permian Basin. She attended the University of Texas El Paso and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing. She has been at the Vascular Center of the Permian Basin since 2016.
Daniela M. Flores FNP
Daniela is a Nurse Practitioner at the Vascular Center of the Permian Basin. She attended the University of Texas at the Permian Basin graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She matriculated at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She joined the Vascular Center of the Permian Basin in 2022.
Christina Griffin RDMS RVT
Christina is the Technical Director of the Vascular Lab at Vascular Center of the Permian Basin. She attended Midland College obtaining an Associate of Science in Diagnostic Sonography. She attended the University of Texas Permian Basin and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She is a Registered Medical Diagnostic Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). She has been with the Vascular Center of the Permian Basin since 2013.
